If it would just stop raining long enough….

If it would just stop raining, we can pick among several outdoor Independence Day weekend events to enjoy.  Some of them are today on the eve of July 4th, some are tomorrow.  Clemsonfest starts at 5 o’clock on the Campus Beach.  You can expect the first sounds from Music on Main in Westminster at 6:30.  Walhalla’s annual Independence Eve runs 7 to 10 tonight on the soccer field.  Here are events tomorrow on the 4th of July:  Downtown Seneca’s celebration at Gignilliat Field begins with a cruise-in at 3 and ends with fireworks at 9:15.  South Cove Park promises activities for kids.  Hillbillies gather in large numbers tomorrow for the day in their honor in the Mountain Rest Community.  Salem’s July 4th celebration will feature local churches giving away food and toys.  Salem will also offer a car show, entertainment and 9:30 fireworks tomorrow night.
