Incident outside bar lands four in jail

The police in Seneca say they made four arrests early yesterday morning from a large crowd in the middle of a downtown street. The police say they were there, around 3:45 a-m, to disburse the crowd as the bar at 104 N. Cherry Street was closing for the night. All four people received police citations for public disorderly conduct and charged with failure to accompany. One of the four, according to police reports, was further charged with threatening the life of a public official. The police say they heard Jermaine James Bowens, 35, of Seneca make threats against officers and the city judge.
