Incumbent faces challenge in District Two

Wayne McCall places his record for benevolence before the voters in his district as he bids for a new, four-year term on the Oconee County Council. And he gave examples during last night’s forum that include donating his council salary to financially-troubled residents within District Two and the volunteer work that he and others put in to return the Walhalla Municipal Swimming Pool to working order.  McCall this year faces a challenge from a Mountain Rest man who claims the process of representative county government is broken.  Jared Ketterman says the accountability is not what it should be.
