Industry display case at Seneca High School

display-caseA new showcase on display at the Seneca High School represents the school district’s endeavors to raise awareness among students of the products made by local manufacturing plants.  The display case was designed and built for Seneca High and contains products from Sandvik Coromant, the first industry to respond to the project. Sandvik placed Inserts, or cutting tools, in various stages of their life cycles.  Shown are solid carbide drills and mills along with examples of products that are machined with their tools, such as steel shafts, race cars, and airplanes. The district plans for the displays from Sandvik and other local industries to be rotated through all three county high schools each year.
