Jazz on the Alley Cancelled

By:  Chad Dorsett of WSNW Radio

The threat of showers and thunderstorms has forced officials to cancel tonight’s Jazz on the Alley in downtown Seneca.  However, the city is still inviting everyone to come to downtown tonight to enjoy a meal, explains Seneca Events Coordinator Riley Johnson.  “We have decided to go ahead and call it, so everybody can plan on staying inside this evening.  But if you already had plans to attend Jazz on the Alley tonight, come on and enjoy the downtown restaurants inside.  Due to all the rain, we just want to let everyone know ahead of time that we will not have Jazz on the Alley tonight.  We hope all this rain moves out soon and we can get back to hosting Jazz on the Alley next Thursday night in downtown Seneca.” So, once again no Jazz on the Alley tonight because of rain.  The City of Seneca invites residents to visit their website at www.seneca.sc.us to see future bands scheduled to perform at Jazz on the Alley in the coming weeks.
