Joseph Samuel Whiteside Sr.

Joseph Samuel Whiteside Sr., 84, of 2 Captain Lane, Salem died Friday in Robbins, NC.  He was the widower of Ruth Nall Whiteside.  The funeral will be 2 pm Tuesday at Utica Baptist Church with entombment to follow in Oconee Memorial Park Mausouleum with full military honors.  The family receives friends from 6-8 pm Monday at Davenport Funeral Home, West Union.  In place of flowers, memorials may be made to Utica Baptist Church, 4056 Wells Highway, Seneca, SC  29678 or Toys for Tots, Lewis G.
