Jurors ask questions

The jury at Oconee Courthouse during the noon hour interrupted deliberations to ask the judge questions about their task.  Which is ruling on the guilt or innocence of a Seneca area man charged with kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct first degree.  Wilbur Rickmon did not testify in his defense, but the prosecution offered a video and statements made by the defendant when he was questioned by a deputy about what happened in his trailer home.  Some of those statements referred to by prosecutor Lindsey Simmons disparaged a young Rickmon neighbor, the victim in the case.  But,  in his closing statement to the jury, defense lawyer Danny Day argued there was a logical explanation for why Rickmon spoke and acted as he did as he was questioned by officer Mayer, who worse a body camera.
