Jury picked for criminal court trial

A jury has been selected to begin hearing testimony in the case of South Carolina versus Oconee County resident Kevin Todd Adams. The start of testimony is planned tomorrow morning in General Sessions Court at Walhalla. Adams, 40 years old, was arrested in May 2011 as part of an Oconee Sheriff’s Office investigation of the theft of copper power line cable belonging to Duke Energy. The cable, valued at $10 thousand, had been placed on power poles in rural area—-between Holly Springs Baptist Church and Lake Tugaloo at Long Creek.
