Jury returns guilty verdict in bank robbery case

A jury at Pickens today returned a guilty verdict against a 49-year old Piedmont man, charged two years ago with robbing Bank of America on Main Street, Pickens. Judge James Barber ordered Vincent Missouri to go to prison for 20 years–a sentence that’ll require Missouri to serve 17 of the 20 years. Missouri got away from the bank with $1,750.00, but driving a red Ford pickup he he was spotted by Pickens sheriff’s officers and apprehended in Easley after a high-speed chase. When apprehended, Missouri had in his possession the bank loot, according to an announcement by the prosecutor’s office, the 13th Circuit Solicitor.
