The Seneca man wanted by authorities turned himself in late this morning at the Oconee Probation, Parole and Pardon Office in Walhalla. And Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says Robert Andrew Ivester will be now be taken to jail, pending a court appearance. Ivester was wanted on charges of forgery and other offenses. An alert had been posted because of what deputies had said were Ivester’s past threats of doing harm to himself or others. And while that alert lasted Oconee public schools went on a Code Yellow, meaning no outside recess.
