Keeping the juice flowing at Clemson University

Trustees at Clemson have given the OK to a concept plan to replace and upgrade the electrical distribution system at the main campus. The project is estimated to cost $75 million, to be paid for with state bonds and maintenance and stewardship funds. Brett Dalton, vice president for finance, said replacing what is antiquated and unreliable is essential to meet the basic electric services of the campus. Clemson’s Littlejohn Coliseum also is getting a renovation. The work is to include new seating, new practice facilities, locker room, meeting rooms, and new basketball coaches’ offices.
