Keowee Key man in “complete agreement” with Duncan

December 27, 2013

A Keowee Key man is all on-board with the Third District congressman’s plans for legislation to open energy development under less environmental regulations. It’s just that Harry Wertheimer doesn’t regard prospects good for its passage. Wertheimer worked as a mechanical engineer during his auto industry career and, from his retirement home, has waged a campaign to convince government to end a mandate that gasoline include some ethanol. He’s encouraged to see that Duncan’s 2014 energy bill would do just that.
