Kirven replaces Drew as Master-in-Equity

The 10th Judicial Circuit, covering Oconee and Anderson counties, is being served by a new master-in-equity.  Effective July 1, Anderson attorney Steve Kirven succeeded Ellis Drew, who has retired.  Drew is believed to be the only master-in-equity to adjudicate matters in the two counties.  A master-in-equity serves at the appointment of the governor and has jurisdiction of matters referred to him by the circuit courts.
