Kome: two sold financial years since hospital merger

Oconee Memorial has filled more patient rooms, its doctors have undertaken more surgeries, and its emergency department has treated more patients in year number two of the hospital’s absorption into the Greenville Health System.  Hunter Kome, president of the Oconee Medical Campus of GHS, highlighted a year report during a meeting last night of the Oconee Medical Holdings Board.  “As you know, we did not have a 6.4% operating margin at any time in the almost ten years I’ve been here prior to our merger with GHS,” Kome said.
