Leaks countywide, schools not spared

Home and business owners across Oconee County are fretting over water leaks, now that the temperatures are slowly beginning their climb. And the public schools are not spared. Crews have encountered leaks that have damaged district property, including the field house at West-Oak High School. Dr. Michael Thorsland, assistant superintendent for operations, estimated the field house leak, so far, is the worst among them and is liable to be the most costly to fix.
