LEC opens doors to “some of the best”

The Oconee Sheriff’s Office welcomed some of the best high school students from Oconee County to the Law Enforcement Center for a criminal justice session. The students, members of Junior Leadership Oconee, visited many of the offices and facilities, including the Emergency Operations Center, the 9-1-1 Center and the Oconee Detention Center. The students heard from deputies representing various divisions. And Sheriff Mike Crenshaw addressed the students. Junior Leadership Oconee is made up of 16 juniors from the high schools.
