Libraries getting a brighter look

lights

Oconee County workers are refurbishing and retrofitting ceiling lights in three of the county’s library facilities.  Maintenance workers are replacing 48 can lights in the Walhalla, Westminster and Seneca libraries. The replacement lights are LED and provide more light at less cost, due to their energy efficiency.  The can lights are original equipment.  The retrofits are being paid for with $150,000 allocated by Oconee County Council.
