Library leaders visit OCC

Chairman Danny Day of the Oconee Library Board of Trustees vowed last night his board will end years of debate about where to build the Seneca replacement library and, once it does, will return to County Council with its hand out. “I know it is hard to find funds,” Day said.  And he said said the trustees are not just thinking about Seneca’s library needs, but needs faced by in other parts of the county. Council members said they hope the trustees will consider the location preferences, as expressed by city leaders and the community.
