Lots of questions to be answered, says Hudson

A retired Oconee hospital administrator says, considering the climate of health care today, he’s not surprised that his former place of work is interested in banding with an out-of-county organization. But like a lot of things you hear, Ham Hudson says the Devil’s in the details, and there are many questions to be answered before Oconee Medical Center and the Greenville Health System decide whether they want to be partners. The big question Hudson posed today is how far an affiliation would go. For instance, he asks, will some form of local autonomy remain or will all autonomy go to Greenville.
