Man charged with Westminster crimes

The Westminster Police Department is releasing details of the apprehension of a young man in a case of car break-ins in a residential area of the city. Mike Crenshaw, interim chief, said his officers were called Friday morning to homes on Gaston Circle and charged Joshua Merrill Nix, 21, of Horseshoe Lane, Walhalla with larceny and breaking into motor vehicle.
