Man stabbed in the chest

A stabbing yesterday in Newry has landed a 21-year old man in jail, charged with attempted murder.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office announced the charge and arrest of Matthew Jacob Eder of the Newry Road.  It is there on the Newry Road yesterday that, according to the arrest affidavit in a warrant, Eder is accused of attempting to kill David Seth Pearce by stabbing Pearce in the chest with a knife.
