Manslaughter defendant returned to jail

A 17-year old manslaughter defendant has been returned to an Oconee jail cell, with no change in a bond.  Octavis Jamal Robinson of Central is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death last winter of former Pendleton resident Rashean Parker II.  At the time his body was found on W. Cherry Road near J-P Stevens Road, Parker was living in Gastonia, North Carolina.  After an appearance today in Oconee General Sessions, Judge Cordell Maddox made no change in the Robinson’s bond, which remains at $360 thousand dollars with surety.
