Manufactured home OK’d in Walhalla

Walhalla last night approved a special exception to its zoning ordinance to allow a new manufactured home to be placed at 502 S. Tugaloo Street. The appeal hearing by the board of zoning appeals for Kelvin and Tammy Bryant lasted fewer than 30 minutes. No neighbors spoke in opposition. The special exception was carried on a vote of 3 to 1, with Betty Hoadley casting the only no vote.  According to Nancy Goehle, city administrator, the approval carried one stipulation.  The home must be a 2014 model or newer.
