Marvin Carmichael tio rejoin Oconee job-creation efforts

Oconee County is re-associating itself with a top Clemson University official as a way to better its chances at economic development. The board of Oconee Economic Alliance today voted to allow Marvin Carmichael to serve as an ex-officio member. Carmichael, chief of staff at Clemson University, served as a commissioner of the former economic development structure for Oconee County. He is an Oconee County resident and is to represent the interests of his university and its economic development pursuits.
