Masked burglars strike Keowee Elementary

In the middle of the night, Oconee deputies drew their weapons as they encountered two masked intruders in the Keowee Elementary School.  They ordered the intruders to drop what they had in their hands.  The scene was approximately 12:45 yesterday morning, and the deputies went to the school responding to an alarm.  Law enforcement documents released this afternoon show two Seneca men–Austin Eugene Hinson and Cameron Mathew Hinson–were arrested and charged with burglary second degree and simple larceny.  According to the deputies report of the incident, officers found an open door on one side of the school and a ladder next to a retaining wall that leads to the courtyard.
