McMaster to be A-OK, Blackston promises

A Seneca Republican is eager to see his “loyal” friend become Governor.  Devoe Blackston has known Henry McMaster 40 years and considers the Lieutenant Governor a good man who learned well from a South Carolina legend, the late Senator Strom Thurmond.  After law school, McMaster worked for Thurmond.  Blackston predicts McMaster will be a good governor, in part, because McMaster loves the state to the extent that he wants to stay here and could have accepted an appointment in the Trump administration.
