Meeting’s theme is reorganization

A theme to re-organize for a New Year runs through the agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting of the Oconee County Council. The meeting starts at 6 o’clock in council chambers in Walhalla, and begins with Probate Judge Kenny Johns giving the oath of office to Wayne McCall, Joel Thrift, and Reg Dexter. The three councilmen were re-elected in November to new, four-year terms that began this week. The five-member council is to elect officers, appoint officials, and committees.
