Meth and pills seized by Oconee law enforcement

The Sheriff’s Office credits routine road patrols and enforcement efforts for the removal of pills and methamphetamine over the weekend in Oconee County. Five people were arrested and seized were 40 pills and more than 28 grams of methamphetamine. Most of the meth was seized during the arrests of two men who were discovered yesterday afternoon sitting in a truck at the Applewood Shopping Center near Seneca. The other drug busts took place on Lonsdale Street in Utica and at a traffic stop on South Carolina 24 in the Crossroads Community.
