Meth lab in rural Oconee

Oconee officers are at the scene of what Sheriff Crenshaw called an active meth lab between Westminster and Long Creek. In their take-down of that lab, Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says officers have discovered what they believe are stolen goods—-various pieces of antique farm equipment. According to Crenshaw, it’s possible that the rightful owners of these antiques are unaware they may have been stolen. If you are missing an antique farm implement, contact the Sheriff’s Department.
