Minister hopeful for “CAT” expansion

A Walhalla minister is excited at the prospect for a vote by Oconee County Council in favor of what would be the first expansion of passenger bus service outside of Seneca. At tomorrow night’s meeting, the council is to consider a request by its transit task force committee that the county commit funding to allow for passenger bus service from Seneca to Walhalla and from Seneca to Westminster. After having had a look at the committee’s final report, the Rev. Richard Reams of St. Luke United Methodist said, “I hope the council will take the recommendation and run with.” Reams says rarely does a week pass with out people asking his church for transportation to Seneca for job interviews.
