DOUG STEPHENS has left the building! After
umpteen years at WGOG, Traffic Manager Doug is relocating to Toccoa,GA
(corporate HQ for Georgia-Carolina Radiocasting) to continue handling traffic
for the company's 13 stations. We will miss the guy who has all the answers and
knows everything about radio. (He even owns a couple - not to mention the one in
his car!) Doug was selected "Broadcaster of the Year" in 2006 by the company.

Mikayla Sharpe joined the staff for the summer
in May. She is a rising sophomore at Clemson University. Welcome Mikayla! (An

to Clemson University (who likes to run with a cell phone in his sock) performs
afternoon duties at 96.3.
Westwood One's Jim Bohannon, heard on more than
500 stations nationally each day, shows off his "supercharged caffeine sunflower

John Frady, principal of James M. Brown Elementary School, and
Dale Baumgarner, Nurse Manager of the Year at Oconee Memorial Hospital, were

Station

West-Oak High School during the annual Career Day.
Ronnie Wiliams appeared on The Morning Show recently to tell
Wayne that his shirt needed to be turned down and Oakway High School was staging a
reunion. The former teacher and administrator is also a firefighter and had a
live hose ready if the shirt burst into flames! (Thankfully, it didn't!)
