Motor home torched near Seneca

Oconee County investigators believe a motor home near Seneca was set on fire this week—but not before more than one thousand dollars worth of contents were stolen. The Sheriff’s Office seeks your help to solve the crimes of arson and larceny at Ashley Lane—not far from Reedy Fork Baptist Church. The Wednesday morning fire, just before 6:30, destroyed two-thirds of the motor home. The contents of an oil can had been poured all over the interior of the vehicle and there was evidence that the rear bedding section had been set afire. Stolen were three television sets and a stereo system—all valued at $1,300. If you have information that can help solve the crimes, call Crimestoppers at 638-STOP OR 1-888/CRIME-SC.
