Motorcycle theft leads to arrest near Westminster

The theft of a motorcycle from an address in a rural area near Westminster has led the Oconee Sheriff’s Office to an arrest. According to law enforcement authorities, Lewis Vince Collins, 39-year old resident of the Knox Cove Road, has been charged with burglary first degree and grand larceny in the investigation of the theft of a Harley Davidson hugger motorcycle registered to a Toccoa, Georgia resident. Officers say they made use of video evidence as they investigated the crime scene Sunday on Ken Pat Acres Road.
