Motorist charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol

April 23, 2014

Road patrol operations by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office netted the arrests of a driver and his passenger—one of whom was charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol. Jackie Lee Webb Jr., 26, of Mitchell Drive, Seneca was charged with the gun offense as well as traffic charges including driving under suspension. Webb’s passenger, 28-year old Hollie Michelle Henderson of the same Seneca address, was booked into the Oconee Detention Center on an outstanding Family Court warrant and contraband offenses which Sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Watt said arose when a search of her clothing produced a half dozen prescription pills. The traffic stop took place Monday when a deputy observed the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee fail to employ a turn signal when leaving Rodgers Road for Tucker Farm Road.
