Moulder foresees no tax increase

April 3, 2014

There’s at least one thing Oconee property owners can count on this year from their county government. At least as far as the county administrator sees it, he’ll recommend no property tax increase for 2014. Administrator Scott Moulder gave a budget update this week to the County Council. He acknowledged that department head requests are millions of dollars higher than anticipated revenues, but said he is engaged in doing some “heavy cutting” out of those requests.
