Moulder suggests a new spec building

Scott Moulder, the Oconee County administrator, made known today his top locations for where the next spec building should go. Moulder spoke at a meeting of the board of the county Economic Alliance when the discussion turned to whether the county is missing out by not having at least a shell of a building immediately available to a prospect. Moulder recommends the next spec building be built in the empty Information and Technology Park on highway 11. He rated the Seneca Rail Site as second priority and I-85 as third priority. Moulder said also it would be helpful if the Economic Alliance board of directors made a formal recommendation to the county council. Richard Blackwell, executive director of the alliance, said he has no doubts that if there were a spec building available at the Information and Technology Park, it would be snapped up quickly.
