Mountain Rest prescribed burn today!

Crews from the U-S Forest Service gather at Mountain Rest this morning to undertake a prescribed burn of 1,500 acres near the Chattooga Ridge Road.  The pre-scribed burn is to start at 11 o’clock.  A spokesman for the Forest Service says it’s believed there will be no smoke impact in Oconee County.
