Multi-jurisdiction investigation makes drug arrests

A multi-jurisdiction investigation in Georgia that made several drug arrests received assistance from law enforcement agencies in South Carolina.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office, the Seneca police, and the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office are among law enforcement agencies whose help is said to have disrupted a methamphetamine trafficking organization.  According to the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, the drug trafficking outfit distributed about 60 kilograms of meth in both Georgia and South Carolina during the past two years.  A four-month investigation on Friday led to search warrants and arrests in the following Georgia locations:  Toccoa, Milledgeville, and Habersham County.
