Multiple charges against Walhallan

The discovery of a woman in disheveled condition north of Walhalla led to charges of kidnapping and assault and battery first degree against a second person. A sheriff’s deputy helped arrange medical treatment for the victim, who told the officer she had been beaten and held at an address for 24 hours. At one point, she said, she had lost consciousness. The woman was found Tuesday at S.C. 28 and Zion Road, not long after a 9-1-1 call. Deputy Danielson reported he later located Ralph Jake Goss Jr. and employed an electric shock device to stop Goss from fleeing. Besides kidnapping and assault charges, authorities say, the 28-year old Goss faces larceny, driving under suspension, and four Family Court bench warrants.
