Multiple warrants charge shoplifting

Oconee Sheriff’s Office served multiple warrants this week, charging three individuals with shoplifting. The accused shoplifters have been identified as 28-year old Daniel Eugene Fortner of Seneca, 43-year old Amanda Kaye Holbrook of Greenville, and 53-year old Cory Hampton Whitt of Anderson. According to the Sheriff’s Office announcement, Fortner is accused of taking items worth more than $200 dollars last week from the Seneca Wal-Mart. He was arrested at an address on Westminster’s Mimosa Road. Holbrook is accused this past Monday of taking a laptop computer from Wal-Mart and then getting into a pickup truck, which one officer told 96.3/WGOG NEWS, turned out to have been stolen in Pickens. She was placed in custody Tuesday in the parking lot of Seneca’s Home Depot. Whitt is accused of taking items items from Wal-Mart November 29, December 8 and January 4.
