Murder defendant loses fight against extradition

A Greenwood man has lost his fight against extradition and finds himself held in the Oconee Detention Center, where he is to await trial on a charge of murder last year near Seneca.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office announces that Dw’Ntraquis Rashaad Campbell was transferred to the county jail Wednesday from the Mecklenburg County jail in North Carolina.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office received word in February that the 31-year old Campbell had been arrested in Charlotte.  He is charged with murder in the shooting death in March 2015 of Anthony Letron Holden of Seneca during a party held at Sonny’s Bar and Grill.  Campbell also faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Campbell was denied bond on all charges during a bond hearing.
