Museum contents to be trucked to Seneca

A donation of museum contents that, for Seneca, represented a Christmas gift last year are to arrive by transport trucks this week in the “City of Smiles, the City with Style.”  The museum contents, originally part of a low state mansion, have been temporarily stored in a warehouse belonging to the South Carolina Art Museum in Columbia.  Dr. John Martin, director of Seneca museums, said the city is getting 2,100 pieces of furnishings–many of them fine pieces.  Martin has said the finest are to be divided between Seneca’s two museums that sit within the same block on the south of the railroad tracks.
