New digs at 223 Kenneth Street

From Pine Street to a location across Walhalla is the path that the Oconee Veterans Affairs Office will take this month. Beginning the week of Monday, November 12, the V-A Office will occupy 223 Kenneth Street (the Oconee DSS State office complex.) Jerry Dyar, V-A director, said, “We ask for patience and understanding.” According to Dyar, the new location will offer more and better parking, along with easier-to-access office space and restroom facilities. “We are grateful to Mr. Scott Moulder and our County Council for helping us to obtain these bigger and better office facilities for our great Oconee County veterans and we look forward to seeing our clients in the new facility at 223 Kenneth Street beginning November 19,” said Dyar. He and the staff plan an open house/reception some time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
