New Spring pastor removed

Upheaval at the Anderson-based New Spring Church.  The senior pastor, Perry Noble, is out, as church members officially learned during their services yesterday.  Announcement was made that Clayton King of the Crossroads Worldwide Ministry will fill in.  Executive pastor Shane Duffey is quoted as saying Noble “had made unfortunate choices and decisions that have caused much concern  among board members.  Questions arose about Noble’s use of alcohol, among other issues.  Duffey appealed to the church members to stay put and to not be disillusioned.
