There is still no official update on what remains the most frequently asked question we get here at 96.3/WGOG NEWS. And, that is, will Oconee County be chosen as the location for a new venture by the Michelin North America Company? Here’s the latest this morning from Richard Blackwell of the Oconee Economic Alliance: “ No official update yet. However, we expect the update from the Company this month.” Blackwell has previously said the decision whether, in fact, the Golden Coroner Commerce Park at Fair Play has been approved will be made during a meeting of Michelin officials in Paris, and he expects to learn of that decision as soon as it is made.
