No real gain ahead in Oconee revenue projections

Oconee County, perhaps, approaches a new budget year with expectation that there will be no major growth in revenue. Scott Moulder, county administrator, cautioned the county council last night that several numbers have yet to come in, but the county is looking at revenue of just under $40 million for 2015-16. That would peg revenues just $1 thousand higher than the current year. The county has begun its new budget process, and department heads have yet to make their requests. Moulder plans to propose the new budget at a meeting April 28.
