OCC “retreats” into relaxed setting

Oconee’s four county councilmen are involved in a day-long strategic planning retreat to assess the past and figure out how to move forward. The retreat meeting is an annual event and, though, held in the council chambers it unfolds without the formalities of official voting meetings. Led by Scott Moulder, the county administrator, the councilmen are hearing reports on the latest audit and an analysis of the county’s finances. They are also reserving time this afternoon for identifying both short and long-term goals.
