Oconee agriculture to be celebrated with dinner

A dinner to recognize the year in Oconee County agriculture. The Oconee Soil and Water Conservation District Celebration of Agriculture Banquet takes place at 6:30 Thursday night, November 13 in the fellowship hall at the South Union Baptist Church. Usually 160 people attend the dinner. By today, some 120 had purchased dinner tickets. For $10, you’ll be served roast beef, fried chickens, sides, dessert and tea—catered by Manna From Heaven. For head count purposes, you are asked to buy a ticket by tomorrow from Eddie Martin of the Soil and Water Conservation District office.
