Oconee hires grant writer and in-house attorney

Oconee County will welcome a grant writer and its first in-house attorney.  Scott Moulder, county administrator, said today that the attorney will be David Root.  He’s moving from Charleston to Oconee and will start work Monday in a Pine Street office adjoining Moulder’s.  Also coming to Pine Street is Oconee resident and former Florida resident Sharon DeRidder who will work as a grant writer for the county.  Moulder also said the hiring of a new airport director is pending final background checks.
