Oconee student seeks national office

An Oconee County student seeks an executive office in the national student organization DECA, Inc. She’s Katelan Hudson, senior at Seneca High School and a student at the Hamilton Career Center. Both Katelan and her advisor, Amy Welch, are hopeful that members of the public will contribute to a fundraising effort to allow Katelan to attend the national DECA meeting this month in Orlando, Florida. Advisor Welch says Katelan’s story as inspiring. As a toddler, she was adopted from her native country of Vietnam. And she has a sister from China.
